Party Rentals
1. Rental Reservation: Unique Urban Events (UUE) provides rental furniture for any type of event. To reserve the event, the client shall submit a NON-REFUNDABLE reservation fee of a minimum of $100 USD of the total amount of the event. UUE has a delivery fee, which is variable depending on the location of the event, the accessibility to the place and the quantity of furniture to be delivered.
2. Outdoor events and Bad Weather: It is Customer’s responsibility to ENSURE ALL RENTALS ARE UNDER PROPER COVERING/PROTECTION BEFORE & AFTER USE. Customer is responsible for damages to the rentals caused by weather and negligence. Customer will be held liable. Please help us keep our rentals in good condition for our customers.
3. Indoor events: For purpose of clarity, inside of a house or any other covered space, Customer shall clear the room before delivery with enough space to accommodate the rental furniture/items. UUE personnel, under no circumstances, shall move or relocate furniture, carpets, TV, or any other electronics. Therefore, UUE shall not be liable for any damage to Customer’s furniture, electronics, or carpets.
4. Delivery fees and extra service requests: We charge a delivery fee. These fees are calculated based on zip codes and by type and quantity of equipment. For requests of deliveries and/or pickups past 10pm, additional fees will apply as this is considered a “late night delivery/pickup.” All items will be delivered and picked up at a designated location. Customer will be notified of the delivery/pickup days and time frames, the week of the event no later than the day before the scheduled delivery.
5. Clean up and preparation for pickup: All balloon arrangements, trash, and decorations of any kind should be removed from our rental equipment before the scheduled pickup time. There will be an additional charge for items that have to be removed by UUE personnel.
6. Injuries: UUE is not responsible for any injuries resulting in misuse or negligence in use of our equipment.
7. Damaged equipment: In the event any equipment is damaged while in Customer’s care, the appropriate fees will be assessed and informed to the Customer. In the event additional fees are assessed, due to damages, Customer is responsible and fees are due immediately upon pickup or notification from UUE.
8. Complete your reservation: To complete your reservation, please accept and sign the quote/agreement sent to you by email. and return by email to book@uniqueurbanevents.com. No event can be booked without Customer’s signature on the current agreement. Signing the agreement indicates that Customer agrees to the terms and conditions, and UUE will honor the reservation for all items requested on your event’s date.
9. Payment policy: All payments are due upon arrival on the day of the event. UUE accepts payments via Zelle, PayPal, or cash. Additional fees of 5% are applied if paying by PayPal.
10. Cancellation policy: In the event Customer must cancel Customer’s order, we require that Customer notify us a minimum of 7 days in advance of these details in writing by email to book@uniqueurbanevents.com. NOTE THAT DEPOSITS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE. In the case of a bad weather forecast and Customer chooses to postpone the event, Customer must reschedule to have the event in the next 30 days.
11. Designated person: If Customer plans to be unavailable leading up to or following the event, Customer is to appoint a representative who will perform remaining tasks in Customer’s absence. A lack of presence does NOT relieve Customer from personal and financial responsibility for Customer’s order.
12. Agreement: CUSTOMER AGREES TO AND UNDERSTANDS THE USE OF EQUIPMENT TERMS AND CONDITIONS AS OUTLINED THROUGHOUT THIS AGREEMENT.
